2022 News

March 17. This course web site has been almost completely redeveloped to remove “analytics” which might expose visitors to evil ad-tracking systems (Google Analytics, Stat Counter). See the Privacy Policy.

A few things are not quite working right:

  1. In formatted code examples, underscores in some function and variable names are not displayed. For example, you may see canvas_width as canvas width.

  2. Some example descriptions that I would like to be formatted with paragraphs and ordered lists are not so formatted.

  3. Formatted code examples are indented one space extra on the first line.

Internal links (within the I400 course web site) should be working. External links, including to IU East pages, may be obsolete, and I will make no attempt to keep them fresh.

Except for showing the course announcements below in chronological order rather than the reverse, I have made no attempt to revise the course content, which is unchanged since 2012.
